Connie Thomas is the owner of Interior Transformations, specializing in professional Real Estate Staging, Feng Shui, Managing Remodeling Projects, and Interior Redesign in Southern Louisiana and the San Miguel de Allende area of Mexico. She is also an international award-winning Real Estate Stager, and was recently awarded the first “Pay it Forward” Award by Certified Staging Professionals.

Connie has also been cited for her work with a special event of her creation, The Art for Humanity Project. This project raised much needed funds for Habitat for Humanity.

She provides services in Southern Louisiana and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, working closely with homeowners and Realtors to produce amazing changes and results. Connie is also a licensed Real Estate Agent, working with Keller Williams Realty in Louisiana to professionally stage and successfully sell properties for her clients.

Connie's training in design began in the 1970's, when she completed courses in Interior Decorating. Then, with redesign sweeping the nation, she studied under JoAnne Lenart-Weary, who has been featured on HGTV's Decorating Cents, thereby becoming a Professional Interior Redesigner. To further her career, Connie achieved her goal to become an Accredited Staging Professional, studying under the creator of Home Staging, Barb Schwarz and is also a Certified Real Estate Stager, studying as well under Christine Rae of Certified Staging Professionals. She has recently garnered her certification in Feng Shui.

Connie has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Caribbean, and has also lived in Southeast Asia. Experience with these diverse cultures has fueled her passion for decorating, Real Estate Staging, Feng Shui, and Interior Redesign.

Connie’s philosophy on home décor and interior design has always been geared toward discovering ways to obtain a luxurious, personalized, and warm home environment–without investing a fortune. She has researched and practiced this concept for the past 30 years in her own homes, as well as in the homes of others. Her steadfast belief is that a décor brimming with individuality and flair, “signature style,” and a wonderful air of graciousness should not be beyond anyone’s reach.
